Yemeni Flat Bread

"Isn't this the fast I choose: to break the chains of wickedness, to untie the ropes of the yoke, to set the oppressed free, and to tear off every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your house, to clothe the naked when you see him, and not to ignore your own flesh and blood?" Isaiah 58:6-7

PRAYER:

Bread of Life, we long to see the hungry filled and satisfied with every good thing that comes from above. The Yemeni people are starving physically and starving spiritually. Feed them, Lord! Satisfy their longings. Meet their needs - bread for the body and bread for the soul. Raise up leaders in Yemen who will feed your sheep. Raise up generous hearts who will share their bread with the hungry and bring the poor and homeless into their houses. Hear their cries. Hear our cries. Amen.
